    A Sweet Story!

I thought the idea of combining angels with a romance story was a good one.
This story contains elements from A Christmas Carol, and a snippet from It’s a Wonderful Life. The characters are well written and the plot line is sweet. Just like real life, the story has ups and downs as Tyler tries to balance his work life with being a single dad. And the book has a happy ending. I recommend you read the book while enjoying a mug of hot chocolate!

    This Christmas Romance is charming!

Rueben, a guardian angel in training, is assigned to help Ren Michaels realize the spirit of friendship. It seems he has allowed his friendship with Sadie Jameson, the town librarian, to become limiting. But fear is a great motivator. When Ethan Parker moves to town with plans to open a bookstore, his interest quickly falls on Sadie, much to Ren's dismay.

Deep-seated fears from childhood trauma, compounded by the lack of appropriate communication, play a significant role in this story. When the main couple is alone, the dynamics are stellar. Whenever the well-meaning objector appears, the protagonist withdraws into internal turmoil (appropriate behavior for his trope). Nevertheless, the protagonist overcomes his fears with the help of angelic advice. The end is heartwarming.

Tyler is the perfect feel-good Christmas story that hits all the right notes about family and love.

Tyler Olsen is a super-focused lawyer, on track to make partner, but he’s so wrapped up in his career that he’s missing out on what matters most—time with his daughter, Leena. Then along comes Rose, his quirky, tap-dancing guardian angel, who’s on a mission to help him reconnect with family before Christmas Eve. With a little help from Leena’s kind-hearted music teacher, Gabby, Tyler starts to see what he’s been missing and finds himself opening up in ways he hadn’t expected. This sweet, magical story is packed with humor and heart, making Tyler a must-read for anyone who loves stories about family, redemption, and a touch of holiday magic.
